I no longer have time to make sheaths since the wait list has gotten so long. I realize this puts a lot of you in a hard situation on finding a sheath, I apologize for that.
Below are a couple recommendations you might consider. I have no affiliation with any of the companies listed below. I do not get any money or benefits from these recommendations so if you inquire about one of their sheaths please talk with them directly.
Thanks for your understanding in this matter, I appreciate it. Not making sheaths will allow me to get a knife to you much faster.
These sheaths are made by J Leather, I can recommend them from first hand experience. He does top notch work. He's the only leather guy that has access to all of my patterns. What that means is, he doesn't need your knife to make a sheath for it. So you don't have to risk sending your knives through the mail and having them damaged or lost.
He can be reached by email at email@example.com or you can check out his subforum on Bushcraftusa.com here J leather
Check out Goose here:
He does excellent work and I don't think you can go wrong with anything made by him. You'll likely have to send your knife too him since he doesn't have my patterns though.
This option is if you'd like to go a more affordable route than the above options.
This is a ready made sheath from Jantz Knife supply. It is model # kt111 and it can be found here Jantz leather
These are made in the U.S.A. so that's a plus and they are pretty affordable. It will fit the following models (some better than others)
#2, #2d, #3, #5, #7 tight, #8, #12, #16, #17, #19, #20, #21, #24 (loose), #25, #26, #28
It won't be a perfect fit for sure but it'll be a workable option if you decide to go that way.
If I were to use one of these I'd do three things for sure to it: First and most importantly, I'd re-stitch the entire thing. It has terribly weak stitching and is a failure waiting to happen. But what can you expect for $15.00? Secondly, I'd wet form it to the knife. And thirdly I'd put a nice dye job on it and a little oil.
